Maybe that’s why it’s called the Land of Smiles, because so many people are high. I just came across a report from the Office of the Narcotics Control Board and the figure is shocking. THERE ARE 2 1/2 MILLION “KNOWN” DRUG USERS IN THE KINGDOM OF THAILAND.

NO SMOKING, is the new sign of the times in Thailand. Beginning on the 17th of February, it will be against the law and carry a 2,000 baht fine to smoke in nightclubs, pubs, and even the popular open-air market in Bangkok… (it’s known as Chatuchak, The Weekend Market, and JJ Market) and all other open air markets.
