Protest Power in Bangkok

Fewer than anticipated showed up for this past Friday’s demonstration aimed at encouraging the current Prime Minister of Thailand, Samak Sundaravej, to leave office.
The People’s Alliance for Democracy, or PAD, which staged the recent demonstration have not been violent and the military has said that it is fully behind the Prime Minister.
